Happy New Year! Aud Lang Syne has toasted in the new calendar year and it is the mark of new beginnings. It is time to get used to writing the new date on checks and documents. A time for resolutions – lots of new memberships to the gym, increased dieting and other proclamations. People love January because it wipes the slate clean and you can make positive affirmations about how you will make the new year great and better than the past year.
Winter is in full swing in January and after 3 months of the triple header holidays – Halloween, Thanksgiving andChristmas – January can often times seem to drag on all its 31 days with no fun. Although if you’re a sports fan, the Superbowl is something to look forward to celebrating.
